Description: Local and municipal governments face increasing pressure to deliver better services, improve operational efficiency, maximize limited resources, and strengthen public trust, all while navigating growing complexity and rising community expectations. Continuous Improvement (CI) has emerged as a powerful strategy for helping public sector organizations achieve sustainable, measurable results.
Join us for an engaging session exploring how the Region of Peel has built and matured a comprehensive Continuous Improvement strategy that empowers employees, strengthens organizational capability, and drives meaningful results across the organization. Learn how Peel has developed internal CI capacity through training and coaching, created a collaborative CI Portal to capture improvement ideas and showcase local improvements, and partnered with departments to solve real business challenges and improve service delivery and client experience.
The session will also highlight how CI results are communicated to senior leadership, Regional Council, and the public, reinforcing transparency, accountability, and a culture of excellence. Attendees will gain valuable insights into building a continuous improvement culture that engages employees at every level while delivering measurable value to the community.
Whether you are a government executive, quality professional, process improvement practitioner, or organizational leader, you'll leave with practical strategies and proven approaches that can be adapted to strengthen Continuous Improvement efforts within your own organization.
