This event is cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

We have Shauna Wilson presenting an overview on remote auditing fundamentals for our January development session.

About the Program: An audit is “a systematic, independent and documented process for obtaining [sufficient] audit evidence and evaluating it objectively to determine the extent to which audit criteria are fulfilled. A remote audit should comply with this definition while also accounting for necessary technology used to perform the remote audit. Changes to the audit process can impact the audit result if risks are not addressed prior to the remote audit. In this session, participants will learn to perform an audit risk assessment and necessary mitigation tools to ensure audit objective evidence is adequately collected from the remote location.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define Information Communication Technology ICT
  2. How to Assess Remote Audit Risk
  3. Examine Remote Auditor Preparedness
  4. Develop Auditor Capabilities.
