Abstract:
Picture this – your company emphasizes the value of highly skilled staff, but training is the first thing cut when things are busy. Which seems to happen every year. Where does that leave you? Behind.
Create your own learning pathway and allow employers to support you, not lead you. As companies are facing unprecedented levels of change in recent years, the demands and expectations on employees and leaders are ever-increasing. Learn to navigate the need for new skills when support isn’t available by charting your own course and reduce uncertainty by initiating your own learning pathway.
There are numerous resources to develop new skills and position yourself as knowledgeable, engaged, and curious. There is also a lot of noise – learn the difference between training, certificates, and certification, and which is right for you.
Explore options to gain professional certification that is transferrable across industries and provides a development path suited to your stage of career growth. Learn more about the certification process and how to differentiate yourself from the market, whether you’re looking for a new role, or just looking to excel in your current one.
