Since January 2021, Ellen has been with Peraton. She was an employee of Northrop Grumman for more than 27 years, experience includes project quality management, process improvement, facilitation, Six Sigma; currently as manager, Quality and Mission Excellence for the First Responder Solutions and LInX programs. As of May 1st, 2024, her status is now on-call, casual employees. In addition to her program work, Ellen has been involved with ASQ’s Quality Management Division for more than 20 years, currently serving as Chair (through 2025). Past roles include Chair Elect and Vice Chair, Marketing and Branding. She was the Co-chair of the Quality Management and Software Divisions’ Virtual Conference in 2021. Currently a member of the Joint Divisions Virtual Conference Committee and serving as Marketing Co-Lead.
She is a certified ISO 27001:2013 lead auditor, Six Sigma Black Belt, certified PMP (PMI) and ASQ certified manager of quality/organizational excellence (CMQ / OE). Ellen is also a certified CMMI Associate and Maryland Performance Excellence Award (MPEA) examiner, part of the State of Maryland’s Baldrige program. Ellen holds both M.S and M.B.A. degrees from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.
