Abstract
Ohhhh…is Design of Experiments (DOE) supposed to be hard? Well, here’s a secret for you…it’s not. This fun and interactive session breaks down the steps of a basic DOE into bite size pieces so that even a 4th grader could do it. So, why not you, too? We will demystify this powerful tool so that you can do a DOE on your own and then you can amaze others with your quality prowess. Come and have some fun with us.
Speaker Bio:
Jd Marhevko is a VP of Quality for the Electronics and ADAS Division of the ZF Group. She has ~40 years of progressive executive leadership experience in multiple industries including automotive, military, aerospace, food and medical device. She was inducted into the USA’s Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame and holds several honors including an ASQ Shainin Medal and ASQ Fellow. She has helped to transform several organizations from bankruptcy to best in class performance: In one business, 4 sites were honored by the Association of Manufacturing Excellence with an AME Excellence Award as Best In Class in industry. Jd has co-authored several books and articles on Lean and Quality systems. She is an adjunct professor for University of Michigan in Manufacturing Operations, and serves on the Board of Directors for DEI in the Automotive Hall of Fame. She holds CMQ/OE, CSSBB, CQE and MBB certifications. She has a BSE and an MSA. She has extensive global and national presenting experience in operations, quality and lean.
