Due to scheduling conflicts, the previously advertised presentation on Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) with Dr. Imran Rana will not be held as planned. In its place, we are pleased to offer a special presentation on the ASQ Fellow Membership, led by ASQ Chair-Elect David Levy.
Join us to learn the path to becoming an ASQ Fellow. In this session you will:
- gain an understanding of what an ASQ Fellow is
- learn about Fellow nomination eligibility, criteria, process, timeline and resources
- understand the pathway to achieving ASQ Fellow
- rewards and benefits of being an ASQ Fellow
Additionally, we will discuss:
- the Fellows Coaches
- the ASQ Fellows Focus Group
- engagement opportunities and how to engage with the Fellows Focus Group
David B. Levy has been involved in the quality profession for over 40 years. He is currently the Director of Quality and Safety for Boyce Technologies, Inc. in Long Island City, NY as well as a Quality Consultant and Principal of Levy Quality Consulting, LLC.
David holds an M.S. in Operations Management from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the NYS College of Ceramics at Alfred University. David holds four ASQ Certifications (CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA & CQIA).
David is an ASQ Fellow. He has served ASQ tirelessly since 1994 in a multitude of positions and on numerous committees including Board of Directors, SAC (now GCC) Chair and Vice Chair, Regional Director, Parliamentarian, Bylaws committee, Nominating committee, Chair of Fellows Focus Group and as a section leader for the Tappan Zee section holding just about every leadership position.
Currently David is the Chair Elect of ASQ.
David and wife of 34 years, Sharon Stern have 2 adult children.
Note- The presentation begins at 6:00pm Eastern, however the Zoom registration will allow you to login as early as 5:30pm to allow for technical setup and social chatter prior to the event.
