She holds a Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) and brings a deep understanding of both the quality field and the ASQ member experience. She’s passionate about helping members feel at home in the community and find meaningful ways to get involved.
Monica Rynders, Component Relations Specialist: Monica has been with ASQ for over six years, serving as a key support for ASQ’s volunteer leaders. In her role, she focuses on helping volunteers connect more effectively with members (including myASQ), sharing best practices and tools to foster engagement, collaboration, and community impact. Prior to joining ASQ, she worked as an academic librarian—an experience that shaped her passion for connecting people with the information and resources they need to thrive. She brings a unique blend of technical know-how and community-building insight to her work with ASQ’s award-winning online platform.
Monica and Taylor recently presented at HigherLogic’s SuperForum conference last month, where they shared how ASQ members use myASQ’s key modules—like Mentor Match, the Speaker Directory, and the Volunteer Hub—to connect and collaborate. While at the event, they were thrilled to learn that ASQ had been named Community of the Year, recognizing the impact and innovation behind the myASQ platform. myASQ has also been featured in HigherLogic’s Look Book and highlighted as a case study, showcasing it as a model for building meaningful digital member engagement.
