Steve Czarniak led the Boston Scientific Project Management Center of Excellence to inform, connect and advance the role of project management in the company. Steve has extensive experience managing Boston Scientific's internal Process Improvement and Problem Solving Methodologies to drive value into the organization. Steve consulted and coached individuals and teams for project management, process improvement and problem solving throughout operations, research and development, and business functions. Steve was instrumental in the development and deployment of Boston Scientific’s Value Improvement Process initiative and their Process Improvement and Problem Solving Training programs. As Master Black Belt, Steve taught hundreds of engineers, technicians, individual contributors and managers Problem Solving and Process Improvement methodologies and tools. Steve has an MS degree in Statistics from University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.
