Dr. Tom Jones 
Bio: Thomas Jones holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and PhD all in Industrial Engineering with specializations in Quality.  He is currently the treasurer of the Boston Local Chapter and also a Senior Member of ASQ, along with being a CQE, CMQ/OE, CSSBB, and CRE.  Thomas has researched the implementation of Quality 4.0 systems in US manufacturing firms while fielding a career as a Quality Engineer within manufacturing settings.  He has extensive experience in new product development and introduction, operational excellence including Lean Six Sigma, and in leading change within organizations.  He has implemented digital and automated solutions in a variety of settings and has focused on the tangible elements of implementing technology with a focus on the teams that will become users of new processes. 
Summary: Quality 4.0 is a buzzword, growing in popularity in the quality and manufacturing circles, but it can be unclear what that really means or where to start.  This presentation will set the foundation for exactly what the term Quality 4.0 means as a baseline.  The more important topic to quality professionals today is, how do we implement and realize value from Quality 4.0?  This talk will deep dive a conceptual model for implementation of Quality 4.0, addressing the five key factors identified for the development of the implementation model with tangible steps to take for organizations early in their Quality 4.0 maturity or even prior to beginning the journey.
