FEBRUARY PROGRAM INFORMATION
Rich Timm PMO Black Belt will be presenting our program content for February 2026 called "What You Thought You Knew About Quality".

This course challenges common assumptions about widely used quality tools and
explores their practical limitations. Participants will examine real-world issues
associated with tools such as 5 Whys, Containment Actions, and Fishbone
Diagrams, learning when they are effective, when they fall short, and how misuse can
lead to incorrect conclusions. Through examples, simulations, and discussion, the
session emphasizes critical thinking, logical validation, and tool selection based on
problem context. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of root cause analysis,
containment strategy risks, compound logic problems, and the importance of data-
driven decision making. The course concludes with guidance on combining tools and
thinking beyond templates to drive meaningful, sustainable quality improvement.
