ASQ Baltimore Section has the exciting opportunity to participate in a four-part series “Understanding Each Other” through the Quality Management Division and to present Series 2 and 3 jointly with QMD.

Series 1: Logic in Communication (see the recording link below) — July 30

Series 2: Perceptions and Projections (with ASQ Baltimore) — Aug 20

Series 3: Personality and Propaganda (with ASQ Baltimore) — Sept 10

Series 4: Being Good to Yourself — Oct 8

The speaker for all four webinars is Douglas C Wood, who has presented previously for QMD, Baltimore virtual member meetings and at other ASQ events.

These events are webinar only (no workshop) and run 60 minutes on Wednesday evenings.

Series 3: Personality and Propaganda (with ASQ Baltimore) — Sept 10

• How metaphors are everywhere, for good and for bad
• How our ways of setting up categories limits us
• See through typical propaganda techniques without judging others

In lieu of a door prize drawing, members who complete the Baltimore feedback survey can, if they provide us with contact information, be entered into a quarterly drawing. The drawing will be held after the September presentations and there will be one winner for a book title recommended by the presenter.
