About the presenter:
Dr. Herman Tang is a professor in the School of Engineering at Eastern Michigan University, bringing over 16 years of industry experience from Chrysler (now Stellantis). With expertise in mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering, he has authored five technical books published by Wiley and SAE. For the past decade, he has overseen EMU’s Master of Science in Quality Management and Graduate Certificate in Lean Six Sigma programs, while also serving as a journal associate editor, reviewer, and NSF panelist. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and an MBA in Industrial Management from Baker College. He serves as a member of the QMD Council and the WCQI Technical Committee, and as Treasurer of the Ann Arbor Section
