Description

The purpose of the webinar is to discuss the Feb 2024 amendment 1: Climate action changes to the ISO 9001:2015 international standard and the “ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group Guidance on: Auditing Climate Change issues in ISO 9001” document written by the ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group and available on the ISO website.

 

The webinar will consist of a panel of representatives from three key 3rd party auditor registrars; SGS, BSI, and CGSB (registrar for the Canadian public sector). A special guest panelist will also be a representative of the ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group who have created the audit guidance document for the new amendment. Key questions will be asked and discussed to help organizations understand how to meet the amendment, and auditors understand how to audit to the new requirements.

ModeratorMichael Kent Hart, MBA, ASQ Fellow, ASQ CQM/OE, CQA & CQT, founder & CEO of HUMAN, with over 40 years experience in quality management and organizational excellence, and over 30 years auditing management systems.

Panelist - Jim Moran, MA Ed. MSP, BSI Trainer representing BSI - President of Simplify ISO Inc. and the Learning Alliance. Jim has been implementing and auditing ISO Standards since 1992 and has been training auditors since 1996.

PanelistMurray Milton, Product Manager – TAPA  & Core Standards at SGS Canada Inc. representing SGS – with approximately 30 years experience in product and process auditing (CSA & SGS) in both management and auditor/inspector positions.

PanelistLuc Gendron, Team Leader at Canadian General Standards Board representing CGSB – with 35 years experience on quality management for various ISO 9001 certified government organizations and 5 years with CGSB on the certification program.

Panelist - Joana dos Guimarães Sá, Auditor and Senior Advisor, Co-convener of the ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group, established in 2003 as an on-line source of papers on auditing quality management systems and on the audit process.
