It is used to determine the "long-term" goals of the organization as it identifies the "gaps" or deficiencies that may be preventing the goals from being met. Gap Analysis helps drive efficiency, and provides a clear, actionable roadmap for improvement and growth.
In this session, Tariq will discuss various types of Gap Analysis audits, the various tools that may be used to perform these audits, and the advantages and limitations of utilizing the different tools.

Tariq is also certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional, by ASQ as a Quality and Organizational Excellence Manager, Construction Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, and holds multiple credentials with other professional associations for Consulting (CMC), Sustainability (ENV-SP), and for Procurement and Supplier Management.
Tariq has over 30 years of experience in international quality and risk management and is an accomplished conference and webinar speaker. He has presented at the WCQI, as well as at the Quality Show, and at several design and construction world conferences. Tariq is also the 2026 Chair for the Chicago’s NEI Chapter of the ASQ, and is actively engaged with the Project Management Institute (PMI) as well as with the Institute for Management Consulting (IMC).
