The ASCM New Haven Chapter's joint virtual PDM with ASCM Massachusetts Minuteman (MM), Northern New England, Western MA & ASQ-New Haven, Southern Ct Sections on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
How many hours do you interact with people virtually each week? If it’s more than a few, then you really should attend this session! With all the Hybrid & Remote working, many workers don’t seem to be able to easily read people / pick up signals / negotiate successfully with others on Zoom/Teams/etc (virtually). So, as some people are returning to hybrid, or remain WFH, their digital (and in-person) body-language training likely needs a refresher.
Stefanie Heiter will be mainly focusing on the key differences between the ways in which the interactions are displayed (and therefore interpreted) differently virtually vs in-person. She will also be discussing what the suggested etiquette is on Zoom/Teams/etc (virtually).
Join us for an interactive session, with real-world experiences and training tips you can immediately use, and apply as you work with your suppliers, fellow co-workers, etc. Real tools that you will use right away, regardless of your current or future work-status (in-person, hybrid, or WFH)!
Virtual PDM Schedule (Eastern Time):
• 5:45 – 6:00 PM: Virtual networking
• 6:00 – 6:15 PM: All chapters – quick business notes
• 6:15 – 7:15 PM: Presentation
