Presentation Title: How Much Quality Do I Need? How Much Can I Afford?  Craft Brewery Case Studies

Summary of presentation:
Every manufacturing business requires a certain degree of quality to provide a satisfactory product or service to their paying customers. What if your product is highly personal and subjective and strongly coupled with providing hospitality? Such is the challenge for Craft Beer production. What if you’re tiny, or just starting up? You’re not going to have a 30-person QA lab, so what do you do? Do you need more as you grow, how much? Does your product actually require a high degree of control and repeatability? Pro-active and process controls? Certification on the way out the door? Is it measurable at all (subjective – flavor and aroma, customer’s hospitality experience). Google Reviews!!!

Hoster Brewing was founded in 1836 in Columbus, Ohio and became a regional production brewing powerhouse until it fell victim to Prohibition.
