Presentation Summary:
This talk will explain the basics of the process approach and how to use basic flowcharts as the
architecture of your Quality Management System. The number one complaint about a QMS is
that it doesn’t reflect the way the organization actually works. A process-based QMS is the key
to solving this problem. We will begin with the accepted definition of a process and use that
definition to drive our understanding of your key business processes and then use simple
flowcharts to show the interrelationship of those processes and then create a flowchart for each
one. Add requirements, responsibilities and references to procedures and forms, and the QMS
model is complete.
Please note that heavy appetizers will be served prior to the event presentation.
