About the Presentation
In this session, participants will explore how risk-based thinking extends far beyond what is defined in quality management system standards and why mature organizations use it as a strategic decision-making approach rather than a compliance exercise. The discussion will cover practical tools and techniques that help embed risk-based thinking into everyday operations and adapt it to an organization’s size, culture, and level of complexity. Real-world examples will be shared to highlight where risk-based thinking has been applied effectively, where it has fallen short, and where its absence led to missed opportunities or failures providing actionable insights professionals can apply immediately in their own roles.
