January 2025 Dinner Meeting - Supplier Management

When:  Jan 15, 2025 from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM (ET)
Associated with  Olde Colony Section

Topic - Supplier Management

Navigating our way through supplier management can seem very confusing when it comes to how much we really want to do, and how much we really need to do to make our supply chains and products stronger.  Even established systems need to be looked at occasionally to determine if supplier performance and compliance is maintaining effectiveness.  During this presentation we will discuss some of the primary activities used for effective supplier maintenance compliance such as determining the criticality of suppliers and management tasks.  Supplier management tools such as quality agreements to align expectations from both parties, questionnaires, how important are ISO certifications from your suppliers, managing the web of multi-facility suppliers, scorecard development and criteria to examine, and change notifications (both from the suppliers and from you to your customers) will also be discussed.
