The Vermont Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is hosting VQ2026- Vermont Conference on Quality, which is taking place on Thursday, October 22nd at the Delta Hotel in South Burlington, VT.
This annual conference brings together quality professionals, industry leaders, educators, and practitioners from the local and extended region to explore emerging trends, proven methodologies, and practical tools that advance quality across all sectors. Three tracks with 12 workshops topics spanning: AI application, leadership; risk management; Lean games; Cybersecurity; auditing, customer loyalty, and more! This year’s theme is Quality Builds Trust!
Two Pre-conference 4-hr workshops will be held on October 21st:
1) Leveraging 8D methods to enhance your CAPA effectiveness;
2) Risk identification and mitigation plans for food manufacturers.
There will be 3 tracks (~12 sessions) offered to conference attendees; one track will be aimed at our student attendees. Lots of fun: karaoke (yes!), door prizes, Vermont product giveaways, and seasonal local area activities & Lake Champlain waterfront restaurants… this is the Fall Foliage time in Vermont!
Four (4) post-conference Vermont company tours: the Tour of Tours! are planned for Friday October 23, 2026.
