
Bio: Jennifer Young Baker MSPM, PfMP, PgMP, PMP, ITIL, MBB, BRMP, PMO-CP, CB-PMO, SAFe-SA
Jennifer is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, an Instructor at UNC
Charlotte, and Assistant Professor at Wingate University. She is a management consultant that has been a practitioner managing projects, programs, portfolios and PMOs for 30 years for Fortune 500 companies and government entities. As well as authoring her own books and articles, she was featured in İpek Sahra Özgüler’s book, “The Perspective of Women in Project Management”. Jennifer holds a MSPM, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, ITIL, BRMP, SSMBB, CB-PMO, PMO-CP and SAFe-SA certifications. She lives in North Carolina with her husband Ken and two Yorkies.
Abstract: This Presentation will discuss the challenges with AI as it is still very new in many ways and there are significant challenges that have been encountered in its infancy. While some of the challenges will evolve and dissipate with maturity, others will require a concerted effort to overcome. Additionally, both Quality Management and project management are mature and have embraced new technologies and processes in their life cycles. These disciplines are already interconnected and function in tandem in multiple industries. We will look at some of the known challenges and how each intersection with QM and PM as well as how experts have responded to the challenge.
