Replacing the Traditional Audit Checklist With a Virtual, AI Enhanced, Risk-Based, Framework

Synopsis:
Join us for a comprehensive session exploring how a modern virtual framework and sophisticated techniques can replace the traditional checklist and transform traditional compliance-based audits and assessments into effective instruments for closing performance gaps and reducing risk to the organization.  The session will demonstrate risk-informed, investigative techniques that integrate the gathering and organizing of applicable evidence, references, analysis, findings, and corrective actions, within a dynamic virtual whiteboard. The results include enhanced analytical rigor and more insightful findings that enable organizations to focus their resources on high-impact corrective actions while systematically reducing operational risk. Additionally, we will examine the strategic implementation of artificial intelligence to increase both accuracy and efficiency throughout the assessment process.

Speaker: Rob De La Espriella
Deming Prize winning team member and pioneering Nuclear Quality Assurance expert Rob De La Espriella is a former US Navy nuclear submarine officer and the Founder/CEO of BlueDragon. Rob’s distinguished career spans over four decades, leading and facilitating hundreds of audits, assessments, root cause analyses, and operational excellence initiatives. During his six-year tenure as a Nuclear Site Quality Manager, his QA organization was deemed among the best in the US by the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations. He has supported QA initiatives in South Africa and Slovenia, and developed QA Programs for companies such as Schneider Electric (Switzerland) and Burns and MacDonald.
