Travis Ellinger is the founder of Strategic Manufacturing Solutions and a sought-after manufacturing consultant. With experience in hundreds of manufacturing facilities, he implements high-ROI solutions tailored to each client. Travis blends strategy, business acumen, and shop floor expertise with a deep understanding of people, organization, and culture.
He and his team have led operational projects across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, delivering success in operational improvement, capacity expansion, quality transformation, supply chain optimization, maintenance enhancements, process reengineering, and cost reduction.
With 25 years of management and consulting experience at Ford, Lear, and Karmann, Travis works across all organizational levels, engaging executives, project leaders, middle managers, and frontline employees.
He holds a MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University. A former board member of the International Automotive Oversight Bureau, he remains actively involved in his community.
