Accountability by Design: Turning Responsibility Into Ownership

When:  Tue, Sep 22, 2026 from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM (CT)
Associated with  St. Louis Section

What if accountability didn’t create stress, confusion, and finger-pointing—but instead created clarity, confidence, and follow-through?

In this engaging webinar, Chris Hayes explores how to design accountability so it actually works. Drawing from the concepts in Wired for Excellence, this session goes beyond org charts and job descriptions to show how leaders can create true clarity at the system, role, and task levels. Participants will learn how functional mapping, role blueprinting, and accountability mapping work together to reduce friction, strengthen ownership, and make work flow more effectively across teams.

Through practical examples and a neuroscience-informed lens, this webinar will show why accountability often breaks down, how ambiguity affects performance, and what leaders can do to create alignment without anxiety. Whether you lead a department, a division, or an entire organization, you’ll leave with practical tools to clarify ownership, improve handoffs, and build a structure that supports excellence instead of slowing it down.

If you want accountability to feel less like pressure and more like progress, this webinar is for you.
