Lieutenant Nicholas Preece is a multifaceted first responder and professional leader in Genesee County, Michigan. He serves as a Police Lieutenant at the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department and is an active firefighter and paramedic. In addition to his hands-on emergency service roles, Lieutenant Preece is recognized as a Professional Emergency Manager (PEM), a credential signifying advanced training and leadership in coordinating large-scale emergency responses and disaster management.
Lieutenant Preece’s unique qualifications allow him to bridge the gap between police, fire, and EMS operations while shaping emergency management strategies for Genesee County. His leadership is instrumental in preparing for and responding to disasters, major incidents, and community crises.
