Scott's presentation will show you how to setup a Monte Carlo simulation (best for simulating process duration) in an Excel workbook, show you the formulas you need for any statistical data types, and explain how you can simulate less than perfect data using interview techniques with Subject Matter Experts
Speaker: Scott Rutherford
Scott is currently a performance improvement consultant. He has spent almost 30 years in the Department of Defense, either in uniform or as a civilian. Scott has worked as a Quality professional in the Paperboard Packaging industry and as an assistant professor in a local university teaching business statistics and qualitative analysis. While working for the US Navy, Scott has served as the Director for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Calibration Laboratory. Scott has also taught/mentored almost 2000 students in their LSS journey. Scott has served in ASQ Section and Division leadership positions throughout his 33 year ASQ journey. He has held 5 ASQ certifications.
