Presentation 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM: Root Cause Analysis: Transformational Process Mapping - Brad Hollingsworth & Tony Belilovskiy
Excerpt: " Root Cause Analysis: Transformational Process Mapping "
Description:
In our current world of ever-increasing demand for speed and quality, we often forget to look at the root causes of problems slowing us down and degrading quality. The traditional approach to quality improvement includes describing work as processes and activities. In every operation, there are internal products created for internal customers that lead to the final product for the external customer. Internal knowledge products are often the ones impacting the final product, even in manufacturing. Learn how to identify them as well as a different way of looking at work as products to improve speed and quality. Join us to learn concepts and tools to simplify, eliminate, and innovate.
Objectives

  • Define work as products

  • Identify products within a process

  • Recognize the process as a flow of products instead of activity

  • Introduce new tools and concepts to identify products to improve
