ASQ Section 1408 OKC Leadership planning meeting Jan 2026 open to all Section members. Topics:
a) Purchasing ASQ promotional items for Section members (coffee mugs, pens/lanyards, water bottles, tote bags, polo shirts, epoxy resin domed ASQ stickers, etc). De we send out packets to all members by mail, & retain more expensive items to be included at random, as gifts for presenters, & to be awarded at random to in person events? Suggested budget is no more than half of total Section assets to be utilized with a local Oklahoma business(es). Need: Increase ASQ visibility & promotion.
b) Purchase AV streaming equipment (<$200) for virtually streaming Section events. Need: Increase Section reach in greater Quality community beyond local in person events.
c) Recruiting presenters & Gemba walks for future events, - our biggest challenge.
d) Recruiting volunteer Section leaders, - only have 3 Member Leaders at present
e) Open brainstorming - need your input & ideas!
*Participation throughout full meeting will be credited for 0.1 Recertification Units.
