Presentation Title: Unlock your potential and effectiveness with others through DISC
Summary of presentation:
TWhy is it so difficult dealing with people different than you? Quality assurance and improvement work is difficult enough without the added complications of difficult personalities. Understanding your own behavioral style and adapting to styles different than yours will make you more effective in your interactions and communication with others.
This session will help you understand your own preferences and offer some actionable recommendations for you to improve communication effectiveness with people whose styles are very different than yours. You will learn how people are different in their priorities (people versus tasks) and pace (fast versus slow). Understanding the DISC model will help you be more effective with your teams when working on quality and lean projects.
Use your natural strengths while recognizing tendencies in others and enhance communication and grow relationships. This works with your personal life with family and friends, too!
