Becoming an ASQ Fellow is one of the highest recognitions in our profession—yet the path to nomination can feel unclear or even intimidating. This 45-minute session with Q&A will demystify the process and help you see what’s possible for your own career.

You’ll gain:

A step-by-step look at eligibility, criteria, the nomination process, and timelines

Guidance on resources and Fellow Coaches who can support you along the way

Practical hints to strengthen your nomination and common pitfalls to avoid

Whether you’re actively preparing for nomination, supporting a colleague, or simply curious about what it takes, this session will give you the knowledge and encouragement to take your next step with confidence.

Jim Spichiger, the Immediate Past Chair of the ASQ Society Examining Committee, is an ASQ Fellow, and has served on numerous ASQ councils and committees, including its Board of Directors, continuously since 1992 He has over forty years’ experience in the quality profession as a manager, black belt, coach, engineer, and auditor.

Jim has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, is a licensed Professional Quality Engineer, is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and holds eight ASQ Certifications. Spichiger is a two-time Malcolm Baldrige examiner, has written over 70 articles and has conducted over 60 presentation, both domestically and internationally.
