About the CQI Certification:  The Certified Quality Inspector is qualified in the use of proven techniques included in the CQI body of knowledge. Under professional direction for quality engineers and managers, the quality inspector evaluates hardware documentation, performs laboratory procedures, inspects products, measures process performance, records data and prepares formal reports as required by the company’s inspection and testing QC system. This professional certification is recognized throughout the US and globally!  It is good for life… no recertification required.

Class Location: BETA Technologies; So. Burlington, VT; and via Zoom

                                    (specific building and physical address to be set later)

# Sessions:  Five 3.5-hour instructional sessions, and one practice-test session

  1. Classes held on Fridays 8:30am- Noon (on-site & via Zoom)
  2. One session per week per the schedule below
  3. Practice exam session date: TBD (per participants’ availability)

Course Fee:  $595.00; all materials, CQI Handbook, and TI-30Xa calculator included

è CQE Handbook: is a $100.00 discounted price value 

  • Note:  Course fee does not include the ASQ certification exam fee ($447.00)
    • The CQI exam is optional but required to achieve ASQ certification
    • This certification DOES NOT expire (no recertification required)
  • Those who complete the course will receive a certificate from VTASQ.

è The ASQ CQI exam will be held in January, March, May, July etc.)

è Requirements to take the exam:  2 years of work experience in inspection or a related field. If you do not have a high-school diploma or GED, you must have three additional years of work experience.

è The exam is “open book”; 110 questions; 4-hours & 18-minutes allotted time

Pre-work: You are expected to have read/previewed the applicable section(s) of the CQI Handbook to be covered in the next session.  Doing so will increase your grasp of the content and your readiness for the exam.

Ø  Summary guides will be given to help you retain key aspects that are exam-related and have them as reference during the exam
