Predictive Engineering: From Deterministic to Stochastic Modeling to Develop Compelling New Products

When:  Jun 24, 2025 from 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM (ET)
Associated with  Indianapolis Section

We’re excited to invite you to join us for a special presentation by Dr. Eric Maass!

While non-engineers tend to rely on heuristic thinking for decision-making, engineers traditionally use deterministic modeling in their work. However, the challenges posed by cutting-edge applications can push us beyond deterministic approaches to probabilistic or stochastic modeling. The integration of engineering modeling with probabilistic thinking - known as Predictive Engineering - empowers engineers to develop confidence in themselves and their customers that their products are likely to succeed and consistently meet or exceed expectations.

This presentation will resonate with anyone interested in continuous improvement, design for Six Sigma, and leveraging engineering approaches to deliver robust, reliable products.

.

We hope you’ll join us to learn from Dr. Maass’s experience and insights into this evolving field!
