×
When:
Jan 29, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (CT)
Associated with
Northeastern Pennsylvania Section
The Webinar “Why Variable Control Charts Fail and How to Make Them Work for You” will:
Show how the mathematical properties of some variable control charting techniques can lead to firefighting common-cause variation as though it were special-cause – and how to resolve the problem.
Show how to determine if a process response is stable from a customer perspective.
For stable processes, show a report-out that includes futuristic expectations, e.g., a non-conformance rate.
Describe the need to improve a process(es) (e.g., via a Lean Six Sigma project) if a futuristic process-response statement is undesirable (e.g., non-conformance rate).
Provides and describes a free metric reporting app that offers many advantages over traditional variable control charting methodologies, including no firefighting common-cause variation as though it were special-cause.
Describe a methodology where an organization can report automatically updated predictive performance metrics throughout its business.
