BIO:

Anthony Maria is a dedicated quality professional with over 40 years in engineering, automotive manufacturing, and quality assessments, managing quality initiatives that helped organizations build their culture of quality and exceed their quality goals. Anthony joined AGS Automotive in February 2018 and performed as Quality Manager for the Windsor Plant for over 6 years with a focus on quality Core Tools and IATF 16949.

Prior to this he worked in Automotive Industries in Quality related activities with Fleetwood Metal, IGB Automotive, Mason Enterprise, Windsor Mold Group, Eaton Corporation and General Motors locations. His career also includes work with Deloitte and NSF Quality System Registrars as a third party Quality Systems assessor.

Furthermore, he is a volunteer with ASQ Windsor and Detroit sections as a guest presenter and instructor for the CQE Refresher course. Additional instructor roles include courses for Quality Certification through St. Clair College.

Anthony is a graduate of Oakland University and the University of Windsor where he earned a Masters in Applied Statistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Materials. along with ASQ certification as a Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Manager and Six Sigma Black Belt.
