The guest speaker is Kenny King.
Kenny King is an experienced bioengineer and quality professional with over 14 years of expertise in Design Control, Risk Management, and Quality Management Systems (QMS). Currently serving as Senior Manager, Case for Quality at Orthofix, Kenny leads a global team in driving continuous improvement initiatives, post-market surveillance, and corrective actions. His career spans roles in both endoscopic and orthopedic product development, regulatory compliance, and quality compliance with proficiencies in ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA QSR, and EU MDR compliance. Kenny holds a Master’s in Bioengineering from the University of Louisville and has multiple patents in medical devices.
The program topic for the afternoon is "Modern Risk Management for Medical Products"
This presentation will cover updates to regulatory expectations for risk management across therapeutic areas and provide insights into new tools and best practices for quality and regulatory professionals to use in their risk management program.
