The Intersection of Innovation and Quality This presentation explores the impact that quality practices have on the innovations that are an expected outcome of the advanced product development, or conceptual design process in the traditional automotive industry. It will offer strategies and tools to help navigate the intersection of these two business strategies. Dr. Donna Bell is owner and Chief Business Consultant of Dr. Donna Bell Consulting. She is a former executive at Ford Motor Company and Lordstown Motors where she held various leadership positions. A graduate of Lawrence Technological University, she is also a trustee, and serves on the Academic Affairs Committee, is Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, and Chair of the College of Engineering Advisory Board. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Torch of Wisdom Foundation. Donna is Chair of the Black Leadership Advisory Council (BLAC) for the State of Michigan. A member and Treasurer of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Southfield Alumnae Chapter. She mentors current and aspiring engineers and leaders to inspire and encourage them to reach their goals
