Very interesting article. I found that once I moved into a management position, companies did not care about any quality-related certification. They were extremely interested in my professional coaching certification, which I think was the determining factor in getting me several senior management positions. As a hiring manager, I did always prefer candidates with ASQ certifications for lower level positions, particularly CQA and CQE, as an indication of a basic level of understanding certain concepts.
