I know it is tough to find good speakers for our Zoom life, but I wanted to share a good session we had. The Erie section of ASQ (0809), along with the student ASQ section of the State University of NY-Fredonia, had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Gleb Tsipursky of Disaster Avoidance Experts for an engaging presentation entitled Defeating Unconscious Bias Via the Neuroscience of Emotional and Social Intelligence for Quality Professionals. This talk was well-organized, well-structured, and included planned audience engagement polls. The audience included both working Quality professionals as well as students, and we can attest that EVERYONE got something out of it. Dr. Gleb provided ample time to ask questions, and answered questions thoroughly and specifically, without the general responses often provided by speakers. Further, Dr. Gleb provided many complementary resources to participants! Lastly, he was easy to work with, assisting us with logistics and delivery of the session. Some professional participants emailed me after and indicated that the session was one of the best Zoom sessions they have attended. So, you may want to check Dr. Gleb out....https://disasteravoidanceexperts.com/glebtsipursky/. Enjoy your day!
