Hi,
I wanted to ask if anyone could help me understand if using the 8D methodology is a requirement and mandatory to use as a problem solving tool for IATF certification? or can we use any other method to fulfill the standard requirement?
I’d appreciate your response, thoughts, and advises

Ford's Customer Specific Requirements calls for use of 8D when responding to customer complaints. Have not reviewed CSR for other automakers.
