Volunteering to Speak at Virtual Section Meetings: 3 Topics...
Greetings All:

Looking for a presenter for your Section's Meeting? Want something a bit different? Then I may have something for you...

Last week I presented "Speed Presentations" at Seattle Section's Virtual meeting.  It was a variation of the well receive and highly rated presentation I gave at 2018 ASQ Global Conference. The folks gave me great feedback and so I thought I'd offer to present at other meetings since everyone's gone virtual.

I've three presentations teed up. Each one can run 60-90 minutes; includes Q&A.

Cartooning for Quality.  Presented at ASQ Global Conference 2018 and published in the Journal of Quality Participation. Topics include use of graphics, and graphic recording in quality.  But also shows how I've started creating Cartoons from Process Maps to increase team engagement.

Speed Presentations:A variant of my "Pecha Kucha" Presentation from the ASQ Global Conference 2018. I talk about various short presentation formats, such as Pecha Kucha (20 slides at 20 seconds each), Ignite Talks (20 slides at 15 Seconds), and other similar formats.  Learn the pros and cons, how to develop and deliver, and how to host your own Speed Presentation Event.

A History of Quality: Originally commissioned by ASQ HQ for their staff, this presentation has evolved over the years.  From the industrial revolution to present day, hear about the events and people that shaped the world of Quality.  Learn how Guinness Brewery was first to implement business statistics.  Hear how General Douglas MacArthur is responsible for the modern quality movement, and more.

If you're interested in having a guest speaker at a secitonal meeting, feel free to reach out to me.  I'll do as many as my schedule allows.

Thank you all, Happy Holidays

This sounds great, Craig Plain‍ .  I am going to share with the KC Section board.
Dear Craig,

Sounds really great!! Especially for the Cartoons in Process Maps, which can be illustrative as well as informative.

Can we get any of these recordings.

Thanks

Thanks Holly.  I can share the presentation proposal form Seattle had me fill out if you’d like. It gives more details.
