I am planning to attend my CQE exam next month remotely (https://rpcandidate.prometric.com/).
Can you please share your experience attending this exam remotely.
I wanted to know if reference materials ( like 'The certified quality engineer handbook') and calculators are allowed during the remote exam?
If scheduling your exam for remote proctoring, it is extremely important that you have a stable internet connection. Please perform a system readiness check prior to scheduling your exam via this method and once again closer to your exam appointment date to verify that your system is still meeting requirements
And yes - you can bring reference materials and a calculator https://p.widencdn.net/j47bx7/cert-remote-appt-info-flyer
Hope this helps - Good Luck!
Thanks for your reply.
Yes I checked my system readiness and it was good. I am doing it from my personal computer at home and the connection is pretty stable. Good to know about the reference material and calculator policy.
VUE are quite anal about their secure exam room policies, and the person that does this check with you follows their rules to the letter. VUE classed my exam room as not being safe even though all other proctired exams had no issue with it, so if you dont want to get frustrated before taking the exam make sure your room complies with all VUEs little points (most of which are quite petty).
Can you please share your experience after finishing your test? I am a bit worried about my connection because I will only be using WIFI.
Thank you and good luck with your exam :)
