CQA Reference Books
Hello everyone,

For CQA certification, ASQ has listed various reference books. I dont have access to all of the books but the following books I do have

The ASQ Auditing Handbook, 4th ed. by  Russell, J.P.
Quality Audits for Improved Performance, 3rd ed. by Arter, Dennis R.

My first questions is do we need to have access to all or some of the books mentioned on ASQ website?
Secondly how important it is to have the following book

The ASQ Certified Quality Auditor Handbook 5th ed. by Lance B. Coleman Sr.

Can "ASQ Auditing Handbook 4th ed. be considered as replacement for "ASQ CQA Handbook 5th ed."

Thank you,
Husnain

The two books you have are certainly considered core, but whether they will be sufficient might depend on:

- How much experience and/or training you have had with auditing
- How much the body of knowledge changed from the 4th to the 5th edition of the Handbook

Personally I remember having a copy of an audit standard was very useful when I took the exam.  The equivalent today would be ISO 19011.
