Prometric's Pro-Proctor is a mess!
Yesterday was my second time for my CSSGB exam. As COVID cases rising in my state, I was only comfortable to take this exam in my house.

I was prepared to take the exam, had to take a day off from my work to take the exam and voila! Prometric's server blew and now most of the candidates can't take their long waited exam.

Seriously, the first time I tried to take this exam through Pro-Proctor and it always seems to have problems when I had 2 other laptops to initiate the exam and all failed.

There is no mention of WHO will contact me WHEN to re-schedule the exam nor even ASQ does not seem to care at all.

This is truly disgraceful and discouraging to anyone who paid money to take their exam on-line with so much little help either from Prometric or ASQ.

A member of our Certification will be in touch with you.  Again, I'm so sorry this was your experience.
So did you end up taking the exam remotely or did you have to go to Prometric to take your exam?
I had same problem, I tried many times to connect and continue to my exam. The worst thing is: at that time noone answer your request even there are contacts for help, that was very stressful exam I had ever participated. The exam planned at 5 pm but due to prometrics ineffective planning began at 8:30 pm, can you imagine 3.5 hours I tired to connect with 2 different laptops (both of them core i7 and 5 and 6th generation) the internet speed was very good (you can watch onlin movie without any interruption at that time) however prometric system asked me check internet conneciton I know that was nonsense notification by prometric. I think problem is, prometric could not plan and select proper exam guards and timely connection. Even I passed ASQ CQA exam I promised myself that I will never participate in online exams:))

hi @Seyid - I checked with the Cert team. The Pro Proctor platform has been system has been significantly improved since August when you took your exam. Latency issues have been mitigated and test delivery is running at 98% success rate. There is also now more Prometric staff on board, better training and significantly higher customer satisfaction. This platform has also now been accepted by NCCA and accreditation bodies for best in practice in terms of test security, reliability and meets high standards. Hope this news inform as to the progress made from your exam last year. hope this gives you peace of mind if you're looking to take another cert!
