CSSBB Study Hours (Minimum to maximum)
Hi,
This is my first post in ASQ forum . Joined membership yesterday.
I am here to give CSBB certification exam and i have 6 more months for exam date.

How much total hours of Study is enough to pass CSBB in your opinion. You can give range as well (minimum to maximum hours).

FYI, I am CSSGB certified and have 2 years work experience in QMS & Operational Excellence with 2 GB projects completed.

Hi Deepak Negi‍ - Welcome to myASQ and Thanks for joining!  There a lot of discussions here on CSSSBB https://my.asq.org/search?query=cssbb and https://my.asq.org/search?query=black+belt .  Take a peak through these & it will help give you some direction.  Of course, it all depends on what you already know & how much you know about statistics.
Good Luck & let me know if I can point you to other resources.

Deepak,

Study the math/stats... it is much more in depth than the level on the GB test.  Become very familiar with the calculator functions and become fluid in working across the question, the formulas and the calculator keystrokes.

then in the exam, do what you know and can look-up before attacking the math as they can become time consuming (and frustrating?).  also, to minimize keying errors, so any math twice before you pick the best answer.  ASQ loves questions where a simple algebra step can be altered and that answer could be a choice.

Your project experience can help with the other questions, but note that the BOK includes some Org structure questions too.
John is giving you great advice. I studied heavily for two months prior to taking my test. I used the handbook, the study bank of questions, and the online material made up of presentations and videos. Hope that helps. Thanks
Hi there,

Any feedback on pointers for passing the CSSYB? I have been following the BOK, labeled my handbook etc.  The statistics portion I am concerned with.  At the YB level I would think it would not be in depth on the statistics.  What is your experience or feedback please?  I would love to hear from anybody with some input o
