Does this apply to those that have already scheduled on site or would I have to incur a charge to change?

Has anyone had experience yet with the remote proctoring? My remote test is coming up soon.

Not ASQ but PMP remote proctoring.
I taught a PMP class about 2 months ago and most of the class has taken the exam. The issues with remote proctoring fell into 2 buckets.
1. Slow internet connection. About 4 or 5 people failed the speed connection test. Does not help when the rest of the people in the house are also on the network. The solution was to be the only person on the network.
2. Old browser or OS. That was just 2 people. Make sure that your hardware and software meets ASQ's requirements

Trish Borzon - The remote procturing was a nightmare this morning and I did not get to take my test. I tried on 3 computers and had an online agent remote in to troubleshoot. That took an hour and a half. He did a few things on the computer and the exam launched. It took my picture and a picture of my ID and then failed again with another error code. I tried multiple times and kept getting transferred in circles with Prometric. to help me. Nobody is helping me and this is the worst customer experience. I'm really upset - spent weeks preparing for this and this is a nightmare. I can't even get in touch with someone to reschedule.

Trish Borzon - Thank you. It's such a big big disappointment. I was hoping to put this test behind me today, or at least try. Now I'll have to keep studying so I keep the material fresh in my mind until they reschedule my test - for God knows when. The prometric agents were so unhelpful and I either got hung up or transferred multiple times. I could not get a live person to help me and was told to 'send an email'. All while I'm supposed to be in my exam. The technical agent that attempted to help me had me launch the exam again and then disconnected before even checking if it worked. At that point, it had been 2 hours of frustration so I gave up. Why do they not even bother to call and ask if you're okay if you don't check in by exam time? This is a big exam with so much prep time. You think they would attempt to care a bit more. In any event, thank you for looking into it.

Trish Borzon - Thanks Trish. I did talk to Jill via email and she's working to reschedule me. I'm going to do it at the exam center next time instead of having the stress of trying it remotely again. At least when I go there, I'll know I'll actually be taking it! Thanks for helping to escalate this issue.
