Good Morning Everyone! My name is Katherine and I am returning to quality after an 8 year hiatus...I move often and have become a jack-of-all trades with regards to my professional career, carrying experience from one industry and arena to another. Returning to the Northern Virginia area in 2018, I just recently started working for a small government contractor as a quality auditor. This month I will complete my 9001:2015 training as well as CMMI DEV & SVC training and I'll start 27001 & 20000-1 training in February. All this to turn around and go through recerts, surveillances, and a combined CMMI appraisal in April. It's all a bit crazy, slightly overwhelming and very busy.
The majority of the staff here has turned over and we are truly establishing a quality system to be applied to business operations going forward. We have all of the above referenced certifications however they haven't been truly integrated into practice. I really want the staff to live and breathe quality, and embrace it as part of their daily operations. I welcome best practices and really any suggestions you have for embedding quality into our culture!
