I have been in quality for more years than I care to count. My experience has been in manufacturing, with most of my time in the Printing field but I also was in automotive for a few years. I am currently the Quality Manager for a plastics packaging company. As a new Manager, I have many opportunities to grow, but my biggest challenge is leading organizational change. While I have been a six sigma green belt for a few years, I am currently working on my six sigma black belt certification through ASQ. By joining this community, I hope to meet other "change agents" who have helped their companies leap from "end product inspection" based quality control thinking to a more proactive Quality Assurance strategy, focusing on identifying and CONTROLLING key process inputs. Simple right?
