Next Generation
I'd like to see more involvement with the Next Generation... Although there is a lot of interest in Quality Management, what about more of the soft skills? They seem to be interested in personal development, communication, networking strategies etc. as well as understanding building blocks of quality and value over a career.

No improvement can take place without paying attention to "the soft skills"  These are essential and are usually overlooked with looking at training.  Change management is a critical skill for Quality professionals.
You are correct... I remember my first ASQ conference as a student... I thought LSS was the best thing in the world (in theory) but the biggest value was in understanding the elephant in the room (70% of improvement initiatives fail) and the importance of change management!
