    Acceptance sampling and process capability ratios (PCR, Cp and Cpk) coexist peacefully in modern statistical process control handbooks, but this could be misleading for quality newcomers. This month’s Back to Basic’s column, “Who Takes the Risk?” discusses their differences, and when to apply which tool.
