    The COVID-19 pandemic has shown just how connected global supply chains are. As the virus spread across the world, many organizations experienced significant supply chain disruption as supplier after supplier closed its doors during quarantine. As a result, U.S. lawmakers have proposed restricting cross-border investments, which would cause many organizations to rethink their supply chains and how they produce goods.
